Tai Chi & Reishi: Balance Across the Wuyi Mountains

02 Apr 2026

On March 21, 2026, the first day following the Spring Equinox, the world celebrates the inaugural "International Tai Chi Day."

From the rural soil of Chenjiagou in Henan to the prestigious halls of UNESCO, this martial art—which takes "balance" as its soul—has journeyed for nearly four hundred years. Now, it possesses a festival that belongs to the entire world.

The selection of the first main venue is profoundly meaningful: not Chenjiagou, nor Wudang Mountain, but the Wuyi Mountains.

"Why Wuyi?"

The answer is hidden within the "Great Tea Road" that began here four centuries ago. Today, the fragrance of tea converges with the rhythm of Tai Chi to explore the timeless connection between nature and balance.

These mountains also harbor another gift of nature that embodies the essence of environmental harmony: Reishi.

In traditional Eastern philosophy, Reishi is revered as a "herb of spiritual potency" used to support the body’s internal harmony. Reshi is celebrated for its neutral nature, traditionally used to help the body adapt to stress and maintain a natural state of equilibrium.

Tai Chi and Reishi are remarkably similar in their pursuit of harmony:

The Exterior (Tai Chi): Through fluid, mindful movements, it promotes the flow of energy and physical flexibility, allowing the body to find centered composure through motion.

The Interior (Reishi): By utilizing the botanicals of the earth, Reshi supports the body’s natural defenses and promotes overall vitality, allowing for harmony through quiet restoration.

One active and one still, they jointly interpret the ancient wisdom of nurturing the body through the way of nature. This is the Xianzhilou vision of wellness.

It is not about being "high-end"; it is about finding your own rhythm. In the morning, practice Tai Chi under the sunlight to stretch the body; in the afternoon, brew a cup of GanoHerb Reishi Spore Powder sourced from the deep Wuyi Mountains to support a calm mind and a resilient body.

Cultivating both the internal and external is a holistic path to well-being.

The best wellness is to follow nature—just like the flow of Tai Chi, and just like Reishi growing freely in the Wuyi Mountains.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
