Mushroom Matcha Powder Latte Mix, 7.4 Ounce, 7 Superfood Mushrooms with 25% Beta-Glucans

I was a bit skeptical of this because I wasn't sure how the flavor of the mushrooms might mesh with the matcha, and of course the quality and taste of what is sold as matcha can vary widely. But I was pleasantly surprised by this. It tastes excellent. I had to double check the ingredients to make sure they didn't add any sweetener, but there wasn't anything. There are some mushroom polysaccharides, but these are not sweet as they're too large to bind to our taste receptors. Plus they're supposed to provide immune system support.
The matcha seems of high quality. It is very finely powdered and has no problem dissolving in hot water. Others have mentioned difficulty dissolving this - I put the powder in the cup and then added 190 degree water and it mixed easily. There was no sludge in the bottom of the cup, just some specks here and there on the walls.
I didn't try cold, nor did I try whisking it. There is none of the harsh bitterness that I find in powdered sencha sold as matcha. It tastes good on it's own, and also very good with a bit of whole milk or cream. I think it would be fantastic in a smoothie. About 45 minutes after drinking, I'm definitely more alert and focused than I was before.

The mushroom matcha is tasty. I love mushroom coffee and I love match tea so the two together sound really good to me. I like to add coconut milk powder creamer to both and this made it really good. I used warm water to combine and dilute the creamer and then added ice, and it was delicious. The next day I made this using my planet oat caramel oat milk creamer like I do with matcha tea sometimes to make a latte and it was awesome it gives it this strawberry milk flavor which is kinda weird cus there are no strawberries but that's what happens and I love it. I would recommend highly, tastes great and very happy with it. Thank you!

I was very impressed with this mushroom matcha powder. I have tried several mushroom teas and coffees in the past, some of which were great, but others almost undrinkable. I like matcha, so decided to give this a try. This matcha version is pretty close to an actual matcha tea. It tasted slightly grassy as is, but after the addition of small amount of almond milk, it became perfect. The powder dissolves quickly and can be made in both hot and cold variations, as shown in the picture here. I ended up frothing the cold version and it enhanced the flavor even more. I did not really detect much mushroom flavor, except maybe for a mild earthy aftertaste. Overall, this is a great mushroom drink and I would order again.

The product's description and photographs are accurate. This company makes excellent mushroom tea products! My favorite is the mushroom coffee, but I recommend trying any of this company's products!
