Pucheng’s Misty Jiangnan: GanoHerb Northern China Sourcing Tour

23 Jun 2026

Every midsummer, GanoHerb’s Reishi base enters a particularly scenic season. In the soft rain and mountain mist, the rows of Reishi appear vivid and elegant, creating a landscape that feels both serene and memorable. At this seasonal moment, GanoHerb launched its annual sourcing tour, inviting visitors to see how traceability and quality come together across every step of production.

This year’s tour, themed “Evidence-Based Sourcing, The Way of Health and Wellness,” highlighted six core links in the GanoHerb process: self-bred strains, self-selected land, self-cultivated Reishi, self-built facilities, self-developed products, and self-inspected quality. Together, these steps reflect the brand’s focus on transparency, consistency, and product quality.

A First-Hand Look at the Traceable Reishi Journey

On June 3, members of the Northern China Tour Group from Dalian, Tianjin, and Beijing arrived in Fuzhou to begin a visit designed to be seen, experienced, and understood from start to finish.

Step 1: Inside the Technology Behind Production

The journey began at the GanoHerb Biotech Center, where guests observed the spore oil production process through a glass corridor. Visitors saw how Reishi spore powder is processed using supercritical CO2 extraction in a GMP-clean production environment. The experience offered a close look at how modern technology supports efficient, controlled production.

In the sample retention room, guests also learned that product samples are kept for long-term observation as part of the company’s quality management process. Many visitors said this practice reflected a serious commitment to consistency and responsibility.

The group then visited the Professor Zhibin Lin Reishi Academic Achievements Museum, where historical documents, manuscripts, photographs, and research materials traced the development of Reishi studies and the cultural story behind the mushroom.

Step 2: Exploring Strain Selection and Cultivation

The tour continued north to Pucheng, where visitors entered the Strain Cultivation Center and the Reishi Growth Experimental Center. There, they followed the Reishi lifecycle from strain selection to fruiting.

Staff explained the importance of strain development and cultivation methods, including selection, mutation breeding, and crossbreeding. The message was clear: quality begins at the source, and careful strain selection is a key part of building a consistent product.

Step 3: Visiting the Reishi Base in Wuyi Mountain

At the Mount Wuyi Reishi Base, the group was greeted by rain and mist, which gave the mountain landscape a calm and vivid atmosphere. Set in the Wuyi Mountain region, the base offered a quiet natural setting that many visitors described as memorable and beautiful.

Inside the base, Reishi mushrooms were growing on logs under a wild-simulated cultivation model. This approach allows each mushroom to grow with ample space and access to nutrients, supporting a robust growing environment. Visitors also saw the cylinder-collection process, which helps keep spore powder handling organized and protected from contamination.

For many in the group, this was the first time seeing how Reishi grows in the field. The visit turned a familiar product into a visible, tangible process.

Step 4: A Sensory Experience at the Exchange Center

Back at the GanoHerb Technology International Exchange Center, visitors joined a DIY Reishi photo frame activity and took home a keepsake from the trip.

The tour ended with a Reishi-themed tasting experience, featuring dishes and drinks such as Reishi old duck soup, Reishi dumplings, and Reishi tea. The menu offered a creative way to experience Reishi in everyday food culture, combining local flavor with a distinctive brand presentation.

A Tour Built on Transparency

As the Northern China Group wrapped up its visit, guests shared a common impression: the tour made the Reishi journey easier to understand, from strain development to cultivation, processing, and finished products.

The GanoHerb sourcing tour is more than a brand visit. It is a chance to see how product quality is built step by step and how traceability supports consumer trust.

GanoHerb welcomes visitors from across the country to explore its Reishi cultivation and production process firsthand and learn more about how traceable Reishi is created from the ground up.

Evidence-based sourcing, thoughtful quality, and transparent production—GanoHerb invites you to discover Reishi in its most beautiful season.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
