GanoHerb Origin-Traceability Tour Begins!

A once-a-year midsummer rendezvous!

As the summer breeze sweeps across the wild mountains of Wuyi, and the young Reishi mushrooms quietly break through the soil, revealing their first “Reishi buds,” the 2026 GanoHerb Origin-Traceability Tour begins as promised!

Next, friends from all across China will gather in Pucheng, Nanping, Fujian—the birthplace of log-cultivated Reishi in China— to explore the growth journey and quality story of GanoHerb Reishi. Amid the Chinese landscape, they will trace the cultural roots of Reishi and experience the harmony of nature and culture.

1. Visit the Wilds of Wuyi|Trace the Culture of Reishi

At 27° north latitude lies the natural coordinates of Wuyi Mountain. Shrouded in mist year-round and covered in lush greenery, it is the natural sanctuary where Peng Zu once “fed on Reishi and drank from waterfalls.”

Pucheng, Nanping, located on the eastern foothills of the Wuyi Mountains, shares the same rhythm of rainfall and heat, with a warm and humid midsummer climate. This uniquely favorable environment has nurtured GanoHerb Reishi.

Here, Reishi draws nutrients from its natural surroundings, undergoing its remarkable life cycle—from fruiting, to opening its cap, to mature spore release.

As an important stop on the origin-traceability tour, we will venture deep into these mountains and fields, come into close contact with Reishi, and experience engaging activities such as trimming Reishi, installing spore-collection sleeves, and harvesting spore powder. Immersed in the journey, we will witness the extraordinary life of Reishi and trace thousands of years of Reishi culture amid the mountains and waters.

2. Enter the Strain Center|Uncover the “Dormant” Story of Reishi

As one of Fujian’s rare repositories of Reishi germplasm resources, this center has collected and selectively bred more than 500 Reishi strains, covering nearly all major Reishi varieties around the world.

Here, we will learn about the selection and cultivation process of Reishi strains, as well as the “dormant” story of Reishi before it is planted in the ground.

At the New Fruiting Body Center, we will get a close-up look at the growth journeys of red Reishi, purple Reishi, antler Reishi, sanghuang, and other fungal varieties!

3. Enter the Reishi Expo Garden|Discover a Colorful World of Fungi

Here, visitors can pick and sample a variety of functional and edible fungi, such as Reishi, Giant Mushroom, Wine Cap Mushroom, Tiger Mushroom, and Oyster Mushroom (subject to the growth conditions of the fungi). Come take a stroll here and open the door to a whole new world of functional and edible fungi!

4. Step into GanoHerb’s “Technology Brain”|Explore the Cutting-Edge Science Behind Reishi Spore Oil

A visit to the GanoHerb Biotech Center is a key stop on this journey.
