High Medicinal Value Of Wild Fungi That Can Not Be Ignored

Ganoderma Lucidum is not strange to everyone. In my deepest memory, the most touching legend is the "New White Lady Legend" in which Bai Suzhen desperately stole the Lingzhi to save her husband, Xu Xian. It can be seen that Ganoderma lucidum indeed has immeasurable medicinal effects for human medicine although it was exaggerated as a fairy herb in the fiction wiith the effect of bringing the dying back to life. The modern study indicates that Ganoderma lucidum has the effects of tonifying qi, soothing the nerves, relieving cough and asthma, and prolonging life. And the TCM study shows that Ganoderma lucidum helps relieve dizziness, sleeplessness, palpitations, neurasthenia and fatigue.

Wild Reishi Mushroom grows in the high mountain and jungle, but it is very rare because it has a high requirement for its growth environment. Ganoderma lucidum is a high-temperature fungus that grows between 15 and 35 ° C and has a suitable temperature of 25 to 30 ° C. The fruiting bodies can grow in the range of 10 to 32 ° C, but the optimum temperature for primordium differentiation and fruit body development is 25 to 28 ° C. Below 25 ° C, the fruiting bodies grow slowly and the color of the skin is also poor; above 35 ° C, the fruiting bodies will die. Ganoderma lucidum requires higher humidity, and as the temperature difference between day and night increases, the time for the hyphae to fill the bag is prolonged.

Lingzhi is grown on suitable wood or soil by hyphae. It is composed of stipe and pileus like ordinary mushrooms. The size and shape of Ganoderma lucidum vary greatly. Thepileus of large individuals are 20×10 cm and the thickness is about 2 cm. The average individual is 4×3 cm and the thickness is 0.5-1 cm. There are countless small holes underneath, and the nozzle is white or Light brown, 4 to 5 per mm, the tube is round, the inner wall is fruting body layer, and the spores are produced at the top of the basidiums.

Ganoderma lucidum has a long growth cycle, and it takes several years to become so large. Wild Lingzhi is rare, and you can't find many in the mountains. Ganoderma lucidum has been used in China for more than 2,000 years and has been regarded as a magical treasure that nourishes and strengthens the body. In 2000, about 100 species of Ganoderma fungi were known. The most widely distributed is G.lu-cidum, followed by G. japonicum and G.applana-tum. G. tsugae and G. capense. They are all used for medicinal purposes.

Due to the high medicinal value of Ganoderma Lucidum, there are specialized cooperatives or farms for mycelium planting to meet market demand. Most Ganoderma lucidum is grown in greenhouse cultivation. The greenhouse can create a moisturizing, well-ventilated environment with moderate light and smooth drainage. Some fans also saw the unique shape of Ganoderma lucidum, so that Ganoderma lucidum can be used as the artwork for people to enjoy.

lingzhi is sold as a traditional Chinese medicine in pharmacies and is generally cut into pieces. However, in recent years, the relatively popular Ganoderma lucidum products are its spore powder, which can enhance the body immunity and prevent disease.

There are many ways to use Ganoderma lucidum, such as making Tea, decocting water, making wine and cooking.
